Now that's not the only thing that makes the Equinox 700 a better proposition for most.

3. It has 100 TID Numbers making Target ID so much easier.
4. It has 30% More Power than a Nox 800, I know we covered that. But 30%!!!! It's a lot!
5. For all the extra POWER and features you are looking at an extra few $$ over the 800, Do I hear massive value?
6. It is Faster, Deeper and again I say it has 30% more grunt than an 800.

Right here is the down side:

No Gold Mode: So if you are hunting more than 80% Park, Beach, Bush for coin, treasure and relic WHO CARES!!!! This about owning a daily driver that suits you on MOST days.

That's it! That is the only downside I see to grabbing an equinox 700 over an 800.
