I have been lucky enough to run this coil for about 4 months now, I was given a prototype to run here in Australia and see how it went in Places Like wedderburn, Ballarat and Dunolly to name just a few of the places I had a run at with the egg.

Main ADVANTAGES of the elliptical coil are really seen when the soil gets nasty OR you get into MEGA trash areas. Because it is narrower than the 9 inch round it allows the Deus to handle those conditions better.

Now let's be 100% Honest here, you are NOT going to go into the hottest soil conditions in Australia and run 80 odd khz at full Power and expect to punch a foot into the ground, It just aint gonna happen!

This is why the Egg shaped coil has 3 frequencies with 7 shifts per frequency. Effectively 21 frequency notches to try and see which ones best. Because when the soil turns against you one of the best things you can do is take out some khz and run at a lower frequency. As Low 13 khz with this coil.

Its small size makes it perfect for hunting those very bushy or stick laden areas as the small spoke holes in the coil don't allow sticks to hang up. Being so Narrow you can jam it under logs, around bushes or rocks and get in close to places that a large coil simply won't go.

This Little coil is great fun to use both in the gold fields and on your favorite coin patches to eek out the very last of the small targets or to clean out those last trashy patches.
