2017 Road trips for the second half of the year.

2017 Road trips for the second half of the year.

Well I'll be on the road again in the second half of 2017 and I hope to catch up with at least some Detectorists along the way.

As most people Know I am based out of Yeppoon in Central Queensland so in order to get the word out and also have some fun I do regular road trips all around the place.

I am happy to catch up for a chat, some lessons or a demo if you like. Just see if and when I am in your area and catch up on Facebook or email to meet up.

Here are the trips for the later half of 2017 Jul 1 -Dec31. Hope to see you in the field soon.

July 1-7 Clermont Qld, I'll be in the area doing some testing and prospecting using both the Deus and an Unnamed PI detector. LOL

September 14 - October 20 I will be heading to Victoria. The main reason is The Laanecoorie Gold bash where I will have a stall and have also sponsored the event.

Below is the planned Route, The only dates set in stone are 6,7,8 October for the Gold Bash in Laanecoorie.

You can zoom in on the route and see if I am coming close to you, the route south will be along the coast and the way home will be through the central west of NSW and a visit to lightning ridge just because I'm keen to take a look.

The Marquee will be in some locations and I'll announce planned meet ups and hunts as I go on the Facebook Page.

Laanecoorie is a MUST for prospectors each year and is a great time to catch up and have a chat with a LOT of other detectorists and prospectors in the same location. Tours, Lectures, Demos and more is on offer and I highly recommend you come along.

First weekend in October at the Laanecoorie Lakeside caravan park and the event is in the camping grounds so no worries about a few frothies and getting back to base.

There will be a few smaller trips around, but dates are not fixed yet and I will announce those as they happen on facebook, in The newsletter and probably on the aussie detectorist blog as well.

I do go up to Mount Morgan pretty regularly as well, It's only an hour from home and a very interesting place to hang out with gold and coins and relics on offer.

Keep an eye out and let's catch up for a hunt.

Look forward to seeing you on the road.
