Meet the XP ICON

A lightweight, wireless metal detector built to make getting started easy. Choose one of its three factory programs, switch on and head out, or customise a program to suit your detecting style.

XP’s FMF® technology combines simultaneous multi-frequency detection with 4 kHz and 14 kHz mono-frequency options. With five reactivity levels, adjustable discrimination and clear audio choices, the ICON is designed to help you adapt to different ground conditions and target types.

At approximately 735 g with the 28 cm (11-inch) coil, it’s made for comfortable detecting across fields, parks and beaches. The detector is waterproof to 5 m; full underwater use requires an optional bone-conduction headset.

The ICON also works wirelessly with compatible XP accessories and connects with the XP Go Terrain app to record finds and track your sessions.
